Sapphic Pool Night is exactly what it sounds like - and this round the rotation heads downtown to Coppertank, an actual pool hall with 13 tables, so nobody's stuck standing around waiting for a turn.

It's the old Copper Tank Brewing spot at 5th and Trinity, cleaned up and packed with games: pool naturally, plus darts, skee-ball, air hockey, a jukebox, and sports on the screens. This venue is a big open space with plenty of room to walk around and pull up on a game, and there's no pressure to be any good - grab a drink, claim a table, and see where the night goes. (Ask about the pink-felt table. It was basically made for a night like this).

New to Austin, or new to the community? A pool hall's one of the easiest rooms to walk into - there's always a cue in your hand and someone to play against. Roll up solo or bring a crew; rack 'em up either way.
