About Sapphic Weekly ATX - Weekly Sapphic & Lesbian Hangouts

Sapphic Weekly ATX exists to give the gay, lesbian, sapphic, WLW, and queer women of Austin a space to meet, socialize, and find community. We pick a new location every single week - usually a Wednesday or Thursday - and post the details here and on our Instagram, so any Austin sapphic looking for queer community always knows there's a place they can go and feel genuinely welcome.

Newcomers are our priority. We make a point of making every new face feel comfortable, because it's not easy making friends as an adult - let alone in our community. That's exactly why we built an intentionally laid-back, low-pressure hangout in the middle of the week: for anyone ready to meet their first friend here. As we've grown, we've gotten to witness countless bonds form — new friendships, lifelong ones, group chats, partnerships, and so much more.

Every hangout is an open invite to every single sapphic angel out there seeking community.
