Cocktails, Pool, and Queer Women at the Aristocrat Lounge, Austin

Our queer women’s hangout at the Aristocrat Lounge in Brentwood brought us to one of Austin’s moodier neighborhood bars — and this place understood the assignment.

Right off the bat this location gave good vibes and that is on period pooh. We love a red leather booth so that was green flag #1, ambient lighting — green flag #2, pool tables & darts — green flag #3, AND a full bar packed with lesbians?? Take all our money!!

There was plenty to do if you wanted to shoot some pool or throw some darts and this spot managed to pull off being spacious and cozy — queer heaven. The drinks kept coming and we may or may not have partaken in slightly more than necessary. No ragrets (iykyk).

More importantly, this bar welcomed us with open arms and quickly became a popular pick for Sapphic Weekly ATX to roll in with Austin’s WLW folks. Big win in our book. Needless to say, we WILL be back!
